Loop Newsletter – September-October 2016

My Dear Friends,

To say that this past year was a difficult one is an understatement. These are stressful times. With the incessant acts of terrorism throughout the world, along with the highly contentious presidential election, we are all due for a spiritual renewal. Thank G-d that the High Holidays are upon us.

We are thrilled to welcome back Cantor Dudu Fisher, along with the Tel Aviv Lev-Ran Singers, under the choral direction of Menashe Lev-Ran. I am sure that their beautiful voices will help to give us renewed hope for a peaceful New Year.

As always, I look forward to meeting new worshipers and seeing old friends during our High Holiday services. Thank you so much for being a part of the Chicago Loop Synagogue family and for your continued support!

May our delightful and inspiring High Holiday services be the start of a magnificent and peaceful New Year for each and every one of you!

Mark J. Schechter
